Consulytic offers a wide range of services, including business intelligence, data analytics, data engineering, data science, data architecture, project management, and consulting. We assist organizations in transforming data into valuable insights to make better-informed decisions. Our clients are located both in Suriname and the Netherlands.

Our team in Paramaribo consists of driven and well-trained young professionals who work passionately on various challenging projects. Data is at the core of everything we do, and to analyze, visualize, and present it effectively, we use powerful tools such as SQL and Microsoft Power BI.

To further strengthen our team, we are looking for a new colleague.

As a Data Specialist, you play a key role in translating data into understandable information to support organizations in data-driven decision-making. You are responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing, and visualizing data to provide strategic insights that contribute to decision-making within organizations. A strong analytical mindset, combined with good communication and problem-solving skills, and an affinity with ICT are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

Data collection: Collecting data from various sources, such as databases, APIs, spreadsheets, and other data sources;
Data preparation: Cleaning, transforming, and structuring raw data into usable formats for analysis;
Data analysis: Analyzing large volumes of data, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies, and performing statistical analyses;
Reporting and visualization: Creating reports and dashboards to present the results of analyses clearly and visually to various stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Higher education (HBO/WO) degree or in the final phase of studies;
At least 1 year of work experience with proven experience in data analysis and visualization;
Strong communication skills: The ability to convey technical data and findings clearly and understandably to non-technical teams and stakeholders;
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills;
Capable of working both independently and in a team, with internal and external stakeholders'
Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI is a plus;
Eager to learn and motivated to further develop in this field;
