Who is Rob van den Wijngaard?
Rob van den Wijngaard is an experienced consultant, speaker, lecturer, and author specializing in data-driven work, digital transformation, organizational development, and shared services.
As founder and owner of ImproveNow B.V., he helps organizations effectively use data to achieve sustainable growth and continuous improvement.
With over thirty years of leadership experience, he excels at translating vision into practice and successfully guiding teams through change.
From 1992 to 2022, Rob served as Director of the Shared Service Centre at Leiden University, managing over 100 employees. Internationally, he gained experience designing and implementing a Financial Shared Service Centre at the University of Cape Town.
As a lecturer at NIVE Opleidingen, he provides training in digital transformation and data-driven working. Rob is also a sought-after speaker at national and international conferences, where he passionately discusses change management, technology, and leadership.
In March 2024, his book Data als Kompas – Jouw gids naar datagedreven succes en werkgeluk (Data as a Compass – Your Guide to Data-Driven Success and Work Happiness) was published, followed by the English edition Data as a Compass in December of the same year.
Currently, the book’s content is being developed into a global leadership program: Data-Driven Leadership. These publications and the accompanying international learning journey reflect his deep expertise in guiding organizations toward data-driven success.
